Latest Advanced Reader's Copies on the Bookshelf

Thanks to Netgalley, I have quite a list of new books that I can't wait to dive into. To balance my reviews out, I try to fit 2-3 books from my ARC list and 2-3 from my personal list. The change kind of acts like a palette cleanser.

Here are my latest ARCs on the Bookshelf.

Lipstick Voodoo (Kincaid Strange #2)

by Kristi Charish

Strange cannot catch a break. After dealing with a spate of paranormal murders, there's barely time to recuperate--let alone sleep in--before there's a new problem in Kincaid's world of paranormal activity. When her roommate, Nathan Cade--the ghost of a grunge-rocker with a pathological lack of self-control--comes homebound to a dead body, it's up to Kincaid to figure out how to free him. Ideally, before her new mentor, Gideon, a powerful sorcerer's ghost, discovers that Nate is trapped in the body he'd coveted for himself.

The House at Saltwater Point (Lavender Tides #2)

by Colleen Coble

USA Today bestselling author Colleen Coble delivers her signature blend of romance and suspense when Ellie Blackmore sets out to find the truth about what happened to her sister.

Ellie Blackmore is making a name for herself as a young house flipper. But when her sister disappears, she can’t focus on anything but finding out what really happened. Blood on the floor might indicate that MacKenzie was killed and her body was removed.

Ellie is at odds with Grayson Bradshaw, the handsome Coast Guard intelligence officer who thinks MacKenzie faked her own death and is off enjoying her ill-gotten gains: billions of dollars in cocaine.

They both want the truth, but truth—and family—is often more complex than it may first appear.
